Opportunity

The Sr Strategic Intelligence Analyst conducts research and analysis of markets, competitors, consumer trends, and external factors to provide insights that support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and informed business decision-making. This role combines market research, competitive intelligence, trend analysis, and strategic insight generation to support enterprise growth initiatives, investment decisions, and M&A activities.

Working closely with leaders across the business, this individual will transform complex market, competitor, customer, and industry information into actionable recommendations that strengthen business performance and long-term competitive advantage. This role also serves as a key strategic partner to the M&A team by providing market and competitive perspectives throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of competitive intelligence resources, reports, and monitoring tools. Monitor and analyze competitors, market dynamics, customer and channel developments, consumer trends, and relevant economic and geopolitical forces to Identify competitive opportunities and risks that could impact business performance in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and triangulate information from market and product databases, syndicated reports, and other internal and external sources.
  • Develop working knowledge of competitors, products, pricing, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Develop and maintain competitor profiles, market landscapes, and strategic watchlists.
  • Translate findings into clear recommendations and business implications.

Strategic Decision Support

  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
  • Use trend analysis to identify emerging developments, potential impacts, and considerations for Kohler.
  • Develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Partner and support business leaders by providing market analysis and competitive insights to inform decision-making.

M&A Intelligence Support
