Job description

The Technical Product Analyst II is responsible for documenting system configurations and supporting process standardization within LOS and XLOS platforms for a Canadian project. This role builds upon foundational skills by developing more complex documentation, contributing to best practices, and ensuring consistency across configuration and requirement artifacts. The Analyst II works more independently and collaborates closely with the Sprint Manager and Systems Engineers to support implementation and enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Apply established guidelines to document system configurations, workflows, and process flows.
  • Identify gaps in documentation and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and organize centralized documentation repositories.
  • Apply version control practices and ensure documentation integrity.
  • Create detailed documentation for configurations including rules, formulas, workflows, and integrations.
  • Develop clear process flow diagrams and data mappings.
  • Maintain accurate representation of dependencies and integrations.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineers to ensure documentation supports configuration and implementation needs.
  • Partner with product, QA, and operations teams to validate documentation accuracy.
  • Assist in onboarding and guiding junior team members or new users on documentation practices.
  • Partner with Sprint Manager to create detailed stories with requirements and test plans in JIRA.
Required Experience
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in auto finance lending or related industry.
  • Minimum two (3) years of experience in Systems Analyst, QA, configuration, or similar role.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Documentation Experience: Proven ability to create detailed process documentation and workflows.
  • Technical Ability: Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data flow concepts.
  • Requirement Translation: Ability to translate business requirements into documentation artifacts.
  • Platform Knowledge: Experience with LOS/XLOS or similar configurable loan origination systems.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization capabilities.
Education
  • Bachelors degree in business, information technology, or related field
  • Equivalent experience considered
Overtime Required

As required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10%

Qualifications Preferred
  • Experience with documentation governance or standardization efforts
  • Familiarity with data lineage or data mapping concepts
  • Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA or documentation tools
  • Exposure to automation or AI-assisted documentation tools

Work Schedule
  • Ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
