THE DEPUTY DIVISION CHIEF (CEA) IS A PEACE OFFICER POSITION
This position is anticiapted to be temporary for a limited duration. The long-term organizational plan is to maintain one DDC in each Divison.

SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Division Chief, assists in planning, directing, and coordinating the work of all Supervising Agents-in-Charge, Supervising Agents, and other management staff within the Division field offices and/or specialized units. As part of the executive level management team, participates in policy decisions and administrative functions. Acts as back-up to the Division Chief in their absence. Assist the Licensing Program when historical expertise is needed. This position is designated as a peace officer.

  • Ability to analyze and develop complex project plans ensuring the project was completed on time and within available resources.

If you meet the requirements stated in this announcement, you may take this competitive examination. Possession of the Examination Qualifications requirements does not assure a place on the eligible list. Your performance in the examination will be compared with the performance of others who take this examination, and all successful candidates will be ranked according to their scores.
A minimum rating of 70% must be attained in the Examination to obtain list eligibility for this position. All candidates will receive written notification of their examination results.
