Job description

New Tech Global is seeking Drug Testing Specimen Collectors for a client located in Pasadena, TX. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
Position Summary:
Performs drug, alcohol, and functional tests for donors.
$18 hourly

Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Office Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 5:30 pm CST.Schedule will vary within hours of operation.
  • This position includeson?call responsibilities on a rotating basis, includingweekends and holidays.

Essential functions:

  • Performs drug screen. May perform collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines, which includes direct observation and possible oral swab sample collection.
  • May perform breath alcohol testing following DOT alcohol testing guidelines.
  • May perform hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines.
  • May perform pulmonary function testing using systems/instruments following OSHA Guidelines, Audio metric hearing, vision examinations, blood pressure checks, respiratory fit testing following OSHA Guidelines for quantitative fit testing, or lab work.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Drivers License. Clean driving record (MVR must be run)
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Obtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
  • Obtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
  • Obtain DOT Hair Collection certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
  • Computer skills including a basic skill level in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

  • Speak, read and write fluently in English. Sight and hearing. Walk, sit, stand, use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Lift up to forty (40) pounds frequently. Climb stairs and jump or climb from a dock to a boat frequently.
