What You’ll Do:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess and diagnose visual and ocular health conditions
  • Provide guidance on eyewear, contact lenses, and vision solutions
  • Manage and treat ocular diseases, prescribing medications and therapeutics as needed
  • Fit and recommend contact lenses and eyewear products
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Stay current with optometry advancements and technologies
  • Participate in hospital call (5 days/month, if applicable) and scheduled OR days (1 day/week)


What You Need:
Required:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • AL State Optometry License or license in process (estimated 2–6 months to obtain)

Preferred:
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care
