Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Development Manager to lead sales execution and team development across our Mid-South territory. This role focuses on driving strategic growth, coaching a frontline sales team in insight-based selling, and building strong partnerships with distributors and key foodservice operators. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a deep understanding of the foodservice market and a passion for delivering results.

Territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama & Tennessee

Travel Requirement: Travel by car and/or air within assigned territory and to meetings as necessary. Estimated to be about 50% of the time.

Car Stipend: Yes 

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business or other related field required. An equivalent level of education and experience may be considered.
  • Eight (8) or more years of related sales experience required, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships.
  • Strong small restaurant business acumen.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong critical thinking / problem solving skills.
  • Ability to teach Insight-Based Selling.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Substantial experience in demonstrating and promoting food products.

Preferred:

  • Three (3) or more years experience in leading teams and/or major projects preferred.
  • Restaurant and/or small business experience a plus.
