National Oak Distributors (NOD) has merged with Integrated Supply Network (ISN) combining the leader in automotive paint, body and equipment wholesale distribution with the leader in automotive tools and equipment distribution. This is a significant step forward in our vision to expand geographic reach, and to deliver value added services and solutions to both suppliers and customers. Our priority remains unchanged – to continue to deliver exceptional service and value to our suppliers and customers in a thriving and collaborative workplace for the industry’s top talent.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Data Specialist to manage and optimize product information for our automotive tools and equipment business. This role is heavily focused on advanced Excel analysis, product data management, data quality, and supplier data onboarding.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Excel, comfortable working with large datasets, and has experience managing product information, catalogs, attributes, and taxonomy within a PIM or ERP environment. Experience in the automotive aftermarket, tools, industrial, or related distribution industries is strongly preferred.
This is not an IT support or help desk position. We are looking for someone who can analyze, organize, and improve product data while partnering with suppliers, category managers, eCommerce teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large product datasets using advanced Excel techniques
  • Import, validate, cleanse, and enrich supplier product data
  • Create and maintain product attributes, categories, and taxonomy structures
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and business performance
  • Partner with category managers and suppliers to collect and improve product content
  • Support product launches, assortment expansion, and eCommerce initiatives
  • Utilize Excel, Power Query, and SQL to validate and transform data
  • Recommend process improvements that increase data accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:

    • Power Query
    • Pivot Tables
    • XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
    • Complex formulas
    • Data validation and transformation
  • Experience managing large product catalogs or master data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with product attributes, taxonomy, and data governance
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket, tools, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution industries
  • Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system such as STEP (Stibo), Akeneo, Pimberly, Pimcore, or inriver
  • SQL experience for data analysis and validation
  • Experience supporting eCommerce product catalogs and marketplaces
What Will Make You Successful
  • You enjoy working with large amounts of data.
  • You can quickly identify data issues and recommend solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in data accuracy.
  • You understand how product data impacts sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • You can communicate effectively with suppliers and business stakeholders.
