Overview:
The Cargo Sales Executive will be the driver of revenue generation for our narrowbody aircraft charter program. The candidate will come to the position with a deep understanding of the narrowbody charter market, proven individual sales performance and leadership, and deeply established sales contacts in the industry. The candidate will be responsible for direct sourcing of charter contracts. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and previous experience in charter sales is a requirement.
Essential Duties:
  • Directly source charter clients and contract revenue through existing relationships, developing and managing new customer relationships, cultivating client relationships, and developing new to charter clients
  • Understand and maintain market intelligence and pricing strategies of the competitive set
  • Generate leads and grow network of potential charter customers
  • Meet or exceed set annual sales, customer prospecting, and conversion targets that align with company goals and performance targets
  • Negotiate contracts with clients effectively manage the sales P amp;L within established rates of return based on business channel
  • Work with operations teams for the resolution of client issues
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support business growth and change
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in high volume Part 121 Charter and Part 380 sales with proven and documented year over year sales growth history
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to operate independently, drive results, and creatively contribute to the development of the company’s short and long-term strategy
  • Strong presentation skills to small and large groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent ability to understand and translate customer requirements
  • Effective decision maker and problem solver. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose a solution that benefits both the company and the client.
  • Strong computer literacy and quantitative skills to manage data, process and distill information and communicate effectively.
  • MUST have aviation Cargo sales experience.
