We serve customers worldwide from our production facilities in Norway and China, as well as through sales and distribution hubs in the United States. Nordisk is owned by TransDigm Inc. headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nordisk Aviation Products is growing and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to play a key role in the development, industrialization, and delivery of our products. This role gives you end-to-end responsibility, from concept to final delivery, in close collaboration with engineering, production, and customers.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate technical projects from concept to finished product
  • Ensure progress, quality, and cost control across projects
  • Translate customer requirements and specifications into technical solutions
  • Follow up on design and development in close collaboration with engineering teams
  • Drive design reviews and ensure compliance with requirements and standards
  • Coordinate activities across disciplines and departments
  • Oversee prototyping, testing, and qualification processes
  • Contribute to industrialization and implementation in production
  • Manage changes, risks, and technical clarifications
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Take ownership of deliverables and ensure sound decision-making processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in product development, mechanical design, or technical projects
  • Experience with project management or technical leadership
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrialization
  • Experience with CAD tools and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and requirements is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Structured approach to planning, execution, and risk management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English
