North Airline Animal Hospital
Bossier City, Louisiana
Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Shifts Per Week

North Airline Animal Hospital is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our established veterinary team in Bossier City, LA.

If you have experience working in a medical office, healthcare setting, or professional business environment and enjoy building relationships while providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.
As the first impression of our hospital, you'll play a critical role in creating a welcoming experience for every client and patient while supporting our veterinarians and medical team in delivering outstanding veterinary care.
  • Full-time position
  • Four (4) 10-hour shifts each week
  • One-hour lunch break each shift
  • Every third Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

What You'll Do
As our Veterinary Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience from the moment clients contact our hospital until they leave.
Responsibilities include:
  • Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
  • Answer multi-line phones while providing outstanding customer service
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily veterinary appointment calendar
  • Check clients and patients in and out efficiently
  • Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records within our veterinary practice management software
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients
  • Coordinate prescription refill requests and client communications
  • Manage a busy front desk while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist clients during both routine wellness visits and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a professional business office, medical office, healthcare practice, or front desk environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, maturity, and emotional intelligence
  • Dependable, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional client service
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Three (3) or more years of customer service experience
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary Customer Service Representative, Medical Receptionist, Healthcare Customer Service Representative, or Front Desk Coordinator
  • Experience working in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, medical office, dental office, specialty practice, or other healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology or practice management software
