JOB TITLE:ย Aircraft Structures Mechanic โ€“ A&P Licensed
LOCATION:ย Florence, SC
PAY RATE: $37-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:ย 

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled structural maintenance and repairs on fixedโ€‘wing aircraft, including Hawker, Cessna, King Air, and similar platforms.

  • Inspect, remove, repair, fabricate, and install structural components such as skins, brackets, doublers, frames, and fittings in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and approved data.

  • Conduct corrosion inspections, assessments, removal, and treatment to maintain structural integrity and airworthiness.

  • Perform metal fabrication tasks including layout, cutting, forming, drilling, and precision riveting using approved tools and techniques.

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), blueprints, and work instructions.

  • Accurately document all maintenance actions in compliance with Part 145 repair station and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with maintenance, inspection, and quality teams to support efficient aircraft turnaround and safe return to service.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to FOD control, safety protocols, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.

  • 5+ years of recent aircraft structural repair experience in a Part 145 environment, performing corrosion control, fabrication, and repair of fixedโ€‘wing aircraft structures on platforms such as Hawker, Cessna, and King Air.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking systems.

  • OEM training or certifications on relevant aircraft types.
