PAY RATE: $26-31/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:ย 

  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.

  • Assemble aircraft structural components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

  • Interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings to complete assigned tasks.

  • Prepare, fit, and secure parts using drilling, riveting, and fastening techniques.

  • Inspect completed work for accuracy, proper alignment, and quality compliance.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop and OSHA standards.

  • Report any defects, tooling issues, or material discrepancies to the lead or supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school or associate degree preferred.

  • 6+ months of experience using basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools in an advanced manufacturing, mechanical, or technical environment.

  • 6+ months of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English (1+ year preferred per Boeing requirements).

  • 6+ months of experience using computer applications such as email, internet navigation, Microsoft Office, or other specialized software.

  • Ability to use structural assembly tools including high-speed/low-speed drills, pneumatic and electric drills, nut runners, and Quackenbush tools.

  • Experience setting up and validating jigs and tooling, performing close-tolerance drilling, and completing installations in critical aircraft structural areas.

  • Proficient with calibrated precision measuring tools and skilled in fastener installation and removal.

  • Experience working with CFRP, aluminum, and titanium for drilling, sanding, trimming, and shimming.

  • Ability to meet physical demands including bending, kneeling, standing, crouching, crawling, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, twisting, and repetitive movement.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work safely around high-hazard chemicals.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
