Essential Functions:
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft navigation, communication, radar, flight control, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.
- Diagnose electrical and avionics system discrepancies using test equipment, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Perform operational and functional testing to verify proper system performance.
- Support aircraft inspections, modifications, repairs, and return-to-service activities.
- Coordinate with mechanics and other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot aircraft system discrepancies.
- Assist with aircraft pre-delivery inspections, functional checks, and taxi inspections as required.
- Complete maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting production schedules.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of aircraft avionics, aircraft electrical, or aerospace maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience using electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Commercial aircraft, military aircraft, MRO, manufacturing, or aircraft maintenance experience accepted.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in physically demanding aerospace environments.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
