Daher's Sandpoint, Idaho site is a key U.S. aircraft manufacturing and support location specializing in the hand-built production of the Kodiak aircraft family. The facility supports final assembly, painting, inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities for the Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900, serving commercial, multi-mission, and public service customers worldwide. In addition to manufacturing, the site provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance, technical support, and quality oversight, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements, while continuing to expand production capabilities and reinforcing its role as a center of excellence for rugged, mission-ready turboprop aircraft within Daher's global network.
Job Description:
The Expediter plays a critical role in supporting the timely and efficient flow of materials, parts, and paperwork throughout the production process for Kodiak K100 and K900 aircraft. This position ensures that materials reach each stage of assembly in alignment with schedule and budget goals, communicates part shortages, and works collaboratively with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to minimize delays. A successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to anticipate and resolve obstacles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver parts and/or parts carts for Kodiak K100 and K900 to each designated stage or area.
  • Communicate part shortages promptly to the Lead Expediter.
  • Assist the Lead Expediter in tracking shortages and maintaining material flow.
  • Support the production team in writing Nonconformance Material Reports (NMRs).
  • Maintain focus on schedule and budget adherence.
  • Help anticipate obstacles, perform risk assessments, and coordinate risk mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure timely flow of materials through required departments to meet production schedules.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining procedures to ensure schedule adherence.
  • Collaborate with lead, purchasing, and warehouse teams to provide accurate need-by dates.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration to improve team performance and morale.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead or manager.
  • Approach tasks with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

What you need to have:
  • High School Diploma
  • Prior experience in production, supply chain and/or warehousing activities
  • Prior experience using ERP systems and/or Epicor
  • Time Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong customer orientation. Understanding of differences within the production teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to company values and ethics.
  • Understanding of departmental demands in order to meet schedule demands

  • The compensation range is $23.00 to $26.00 per hour.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
