Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Photographer II Studio Photographer to join our team at the Air Force Academy. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy studio environment, providing excellent customer service, and performing both studio and some location photography. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to answer phones professionally, and a collaborative spirit to work well within a team.
The Photographer II Studio Photographer will support the Air Force Academy and report to the Program Manager. This job will be 100% on-site.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct professional studio photography sessions, ensuring high-quality images that meet client expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Answer phones and manage scheduling in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Perform some location photography assignments as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth studio operations and successful project completion.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 years of applicable professional experience
  • Proven experience as a studio photographer.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
  • Experience with location photography is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
