This position is contingent upon successful contract submission and award.


Prevailance is seeking a Paramedic to support training of military personnel. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals with instructional experience who thrive in physically demanding, austere training environments.


Primary Duties

  • Provide medical coverage for jump/parachute and dive operations
  • Conduct and support Underwater Egress Training, and Emergency Parachuting and Water Survival Training
  • Assess patient complaints and determine the best course of action
  • Responsible for providing first aid or life support to sick or injured personnel
  • As necessary coordinate transport to higher medical care.
  • Responsible for inventorying medical supplies, restocking required items, and submitting purchase requests for missing items as necessary
  • Travel – 10%
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Nationally Registered Paramedic with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience
  • Possess knowledge of trauma and be qualified to identify dive medical emergencies
  • Qualified for Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support
  • Must have never had paramedic certification suspended or revoked
  • Ability to complete annual Skill Level 4 testing on the current United States Departments of the Army and Air Force Joint Prehospital Emergency Care Protocols
  • Must have SECRET Security Clearance or be eligible to receive one
  • Able to complete a 4-mile ruck, on flat ground, with 25-30 lbs. in under one (1) hour bi-annually.
  • First Aid / CPR or Wilderness First Responder certification preferred
  • Familiarity with USAF SERE program structure and hierarchy

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
