OverviewIntroduction:Mano Lani LLC has an opening for a Logistics Manager Specialist (LMS) Support to join our rapidly growing team in the Warner Robins, GA area. In this role, you will apply comprehensive knowledge of Air Force logistics principles and supply chain management systems to plan, manage, and coordinate life-cycle logistics support across the strategic sustainment acquisition phases of assigned weapon systems, programs, and major equipment. Working alongside Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), you will lead stakeholders in implementing sourcing strategies using the eight-step strategic sourcing process and drive continuous process improvements to streamline contractual efforts. This position requires a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in Air Force supply chain management and an active Secret security clearance at the time of hire. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Mano Lani is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, and process improvement and development.ย Duties and Responsibilities:ย As a Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) Support on Mano Lani's team supporting the 638th Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) at Robins AFB, you will provide expert logistics management and supply chain services advising on the strategic sustainment acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment. Key responsibilities include: Plan, manage, and coordinate life cycle logistics support in strategic sustainment acquisition activities for the enterprise Supply Chain Develop, publish, and update supply chain strategies and associated implementation plans that support achievement of supply objectives through the contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle Lead members and stakeholders in implementing sourcing strategies utilizing the eight-step strategic sourcing process, and drive continuous process improvements to streamline contractual efforts Conduct analyses on past, current, and future performance and spend data to select the best overall strategy for the portfolio Prepare presentations, papers, and other correspondence necessary to support logistics execution Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other functions required to satisfy Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) programs and weapon system sustainment requirements Provide total task management and, as a senior team member, provide guidance and assistance to less-experienced personnel in the support area Perform all assigned work independently, delivering logistics support with no more than one validated customer complaint per quarter and no mission impactsRequirementsJOB REQUIRMENTSEducation and Experience: Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.ย ย  8 years of demonstrated relevant experience required. Secret Clearance Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently with Military Personnel and Civilians Proficient with Microsoft Applications Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within a defense or government supply chain environment Familiarity with Air Force logistics systems and documentation practices Ability to interpret technical data and develop logistics strategies Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with acquisition life cycle support and sustainment planning Personnel performing on this effort must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.ย Preferred Skills: Background in systems engineering, acquisition logistics, or supply chain analysis Experience supporting military weapon systems logistics Knowledge of DLA and commercial asset visibility systemsย ย Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
