Workforce Development Lead: Shape the Future of Our Talent at Tinker AFB!
Are you a strategic training professional ready to build and empower the workforce behind our nation's defense technology? The Human Capital Division is seeking a Senior Training Program Lead to spearhead all Training Management efforts at Tinker Air Force Base.
In this critical role, you will be the single point of contact and driving force behind our workforce development. You won't just be managing classes; you will be architecting, executing, and enforcing the functional training programs that ensure our civilian and military personnel are highly skilled, fully certified, and mission-ready.
As the premier authority on training and workforce development for the Directorate, you will:
- Lead Tinker AFB Training Operations: Act as the strategic project lead for all training management initiatives, serving as the single point of contact for all training matters affecting Directorate personnel.
- Design & Execute Training Programs: Develop and implement robust, functional training programs and organizational policies designed to cultivate a highly skilled and technically competent workforce.
- Ensure Airtight AFI Compliance: Master and enforce compliance with all applicable Air Force Instructions (AFIs), ensuring that our training pipelines meet rigorous federal and military standarCertify a Ready Workforce: Guarantee that our civilian and military personnel are fully qualified, certified, and equipped with the specialized skills needed to support complex software engineering and defense missions.
- Foster a Safe and Healthy Work Environment: Implement safety and occupational health training protocols, ensuring our workforce operates in a secure, compliant, and healthy environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain an appropriate security clearance
- May be required to travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) for training or mission accomplishment
-May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
2. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
3. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
5. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
