Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented AI-Enabled Proposal Content Developer to join our team. This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence on an as-needed basis with occasional local travel to Herndon VA and Hanover MD. This hybrid role merges traditional proposal writing with cutting-edge AI expertise, placing you at the forefront of our proposal development efforts. You will leverage a rapidly evolving set of AI tools, currently including Google Gemini, NotebookLM, Rohan, and other advanced, purpose-built solutions to accelerate research, generate initial drafts, and refine content. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Leading the development of compliant and compelling written responses to formal and informal client requests and solicitations for multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all assigned volumes.
* Collaborating with proposal and capture professionals to develop and execute winning strategies.
* Utilizing AI tools to conduct research, generate and customize content, and identify relevant resources, significantly improving content creation efficiency and the quality of written responses.
* Collaborating with SMEs and graphic designers to develop customized, compelling proposal content that translates complex concepts into intuitive solutions for our customers.
* Collaborating with Proposal Managers and Proposal Coordinators to ensure compliance and strategic alignment of assigned volume requirements within solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.).
* Contributing to the creation and continuous improvement of AI-driven templates, tools, and processes that enhance efficiency and quality.
* Maintaining and curating a library of proposal resources, leveraging AI to identify and update high-quality content. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of a degree, with 7+ years of experience in proposal development, technical writing, or project management.
* Demonstrable proposal development experience with the ability to manage the full content development lifecycle from initial drafts through final submission under tight deadlines.
* Deep understanding of National Security customer issues and proven ability to illustrate how solutions and services provide value to the mission.
* Proven professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a history of excellent oral and written communication skills and a talent for collaboration.
* Proven ability to create effective, reusable prompts to guide AI models and demonstrated proficiency with AI writing and content generation tools (e.g., Google Gemini).
* Ability to expertly edit, fact-check, and enhance AI-generated content to meet specific proposal requirements and brand voice.
* Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word) and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Government procurement and proposal processes.
* Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification and/or other formal proposal-related training. Clearance Requirements: * Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements: * You must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* You will need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
* You will frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
* You must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
