You’ll ensure that your team’s solutions consider the broader ecosystem and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. Additionally, you’ll deepen your skill set in areas like Kubernetes and MLOps.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience building production‑grade applications using languages, including Python, Rust, Go, Scala, or Java
• 2+ years of experience building or maintaining production‑grade RESTful APIs or software interfaces
• 1+ years of experience designing, configuring, and implementing software systems in production environments
• Experience with CI / CD tools, including GitLab CI or Jenkins, and source control systems, including Git
• Experience with Linux systems, networking, and containerization, including Docker or Podman
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity best practices and standards, secure coding, and compliance requirements
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field and 7+ years of experience with software engineering, or 11+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with AWS services and emulation environments, including LocalStack
• Experience with secure on‑prem deployments leveraging hypervisors, including ESXi
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation
• Experience working with Agentic AI solutions
• Experience integrating with SIEMs, firewalls, or endpoint protection systems
• Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, including on‑prem or air‑gapped
• Security+, Linux+, or DevOps‑related Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. • Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
