Job description

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Engineer to lead the development and delivery of AI-driven solutions across insurance business functions, including Underwriting and Claims. This role bridges business and technology, ensuring AI initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and define AI use cases.
  • Translate business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and manage AI product roadmaps and feature backlogs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and delivery teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Analyze business processes and identify AI and automation opportunities.
  • Drive implementation, adoption, and change management for AI solutions.
  • Define KPIs, monitor product performance, and continuously improve AI capabilities.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure scalable integration with enterprise systems.
  • Support enterprise AI platforms and align AI capabilities with business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance operations, particularly Underwriting and Claims.
  • Experience delivering AI/ML or advanced analytics solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Technical understanding of AI/ML concepts, APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms or AI copilots.
  • Knowledge of data governance, model risk management, and insurance regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading AI-enabled digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and enterprise AI solution delivery.
