Job description

About Dynamo AI
Dynamo AI helps enterprises deploy AI systems that are reliable, secure, and production-ready. Our market-leading technical controls span AI evaluations, guardrails, agentic risk management, and observability. Backed by world-class talent, we partner with innovative, highly-regulated global organizations - across financial services, government, and beyond - to deploy meaningful AI use cases at scale, securely and compliantly.
About the AI Compliance Strategy Team
Dynamo's AI Compliance Strategy organization sits at the intersection of AI risk controls development, product strategy, and customer execution - helping enterprise customers deploy secure, compliant AI systems in real-world, highly-regulated environments. We work directly with risk managers, compliance leaders, legal teams, regulators, and policymakers, shaping how AI is governed, built, and deployed.
The team drives a number of core elements of Dynamo's business:
  • Own the development and integration of product features that power effective AI risk management and compliance across enterprises
  • Design best-in-class run-time AI guardrails aligned to global laws, regulations, and emerging best practices
  • Partner with governance, risk, compliance, and legal stakeholders at leading organizations to operationalize Dynamo's technical AI risk controls
  • Represent Dynamo at high-impact policy and industry events, roundtables, and focus sessions that sharpen product strategy and market visibility

About the Role
We're looking for an Associate to join the AI Compliance Strategy team, supporting our network of financial services organizations - including AI governance, legal, risk, controls, and compliance leaders - in the design, development, deployment, and operationalization of AI risk evaluations and guardrail controls.
This role reports to the Head of AI Compliance Strategy. You will engage financial services organizations early in their journey, partnering with Dynamo's product and forward-deployment strategy leads to help them identify best practices for deploying and operationalizing Dynamo on use cases carrying material financial, operational, and regulatory consequence. You will lead efforts to enable AI usage across our customer base - translating laws, regulations, and industry guidance into practical guardrail design, and tracking guardrail accuracy, performance, and customer adoption for ongoing evaluation. You will also help communicate our technical capabilities to the market and shape the development of new risk management features, while organizing public and private roundtables that bring together industry and market leaders to advance effective AI enablement.
This is a highly cross-functional role for individuals who thrive on applying financial services risk management, controls, and regulatory expertise to practical, operational outcomes in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
The Opportunity
This position sits at a formative moment for AI risk management. As artificial intelligence becomes embedded in the infrastructure of financial services, government, and other critical sectors, the frameworks, controls, and standards established today will shape how these systems are governed for years to come. Few roles offer this vantage point: direct, sustained engagement with regulators, enterprise risk leaders, and technologists as each works to define what responsible AI deployment requires in practice.
Dynamo AI is a fast-growing organization operating at the center of this shift. The perspective developed in this role - understanding how AI risk management standards are formed, tested, and applied in practice, at the intersection of regulators, leading enterprises, and technology - will be foundational to the governance of AI across financial services and government in the years ahead.
In This Role You'll
Engage Customers
  • Advise prospective and current financial services customers on best practices for deploying Dynamo AI controls to mitigate legal, compliance, and reputational risk
  • Run workshops to help stakeholder groups operationalize Dynamo and facilitate compliance
  • Learn each organization's regulatory, jurisdictional, and compliance requirements to help design effective Dynamo deployments

Research and Develop Guardrails
  • Identify relevant laws, rules, and regulations to inform global guardrail strategy
  • Design, document, and test guardrails, and oversee their production deployment
  • Establish a QA process for guardrail annotation, review, and validation
  • Support marketing collateral for guardrail handover to customers

Develop the Guardrail User Experience
  • Partner with product and technology teams to enhance guardrail creation and usability - including UI, reporting, and user guides

Oversee Dynamo Roundtable and Engagement Initiatives
  • Design and execute open and closed-door roundtables among AI leaders across financial services and government
  • Identify lead participants, guests, and topics to deepen market engagement with existing and new customers

Own the Compliance Strategy Roadmap
  • Partner with Dynamo leaders to set and track roadmap objectives, OKRs, and KRIs
  • Report on key milestones and maintain the plan

You Might Thrive In This Role If You
  • Enjoy operating at the intersection of AI, risk management, product strategy, controls and operational execution
  • Are comfortable engaging directly with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders at regulated enterprises such as within financial services
  • Are detail-oriented and comfortable owning end-to-end strategy, along with the development of documentation and quality assurance processes
  • Enjoy translating complex laws, regulations, and guidance into practical product and operational guardrails
  • Thrive with ownership across research, execution, and reporting, often working across multiple work streams at once
  • Can (and wants to) work effectively both remote and in-person
  • Are excited to make your mark in an emerging space with a fast-growing organization
  • Comfortable with business travel (30% estimated)

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, risk management, or product strategy, or a related field
  • Familiarity with AI governance concepts and best practices
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with financial services, risk management structures and processes
  • Familiarity with process, risk, and controls processes and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing polished client-facing materials
  • Program management experience, with the ability to manage multiple work streams, track milestones, and report on progress
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across domains and geographies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and drive projects from research through execution

Nice To Have
  • Experience with AI governance technical controls
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI observability, monitoring, or security workflows
  • Experience supporting policy engagement, roundtables, or industry events
