Job Description:
The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career
The Senior AI Analyst sits within the enterprise Risk and Compliance department and supports the global AI compliance obligations of the organization through compliance reviews of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and use cases to determine alignment with AI laws, regulations, standards, and TJX Information Management Program policies. This position is responsible for identifying, and assisting leadership in mitigating, risk associated with AI, information management, and other regulatory requirements. The Senior AI Analyst monitors, researches and communicates, both internally and externally, global AI, information management and regulatory standards and procedures, to assist leadership with ensuring the organization remains aligned with government and sectoral regulations and handles risk accordingly. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week on site in our Marlborough, MA or Mississauga ON headquarters.
What You Will Do:
  • Conducts research and assessments, including gathering information and evidence from various departments throughout the company globally, to identify and document mitigation control objectives to ensure AI processing activities are in compliance with TJX internal policies and applicable law.
  • Assists with the daily global AI compliance program functions including responding to specific AI compliance-related questions, helping specific groups remediate findings in AI assessments, and evaluating the AI impact of business proposals. Helps ensure that AI and compliance issues are appropriately raised and identified risks are mitigated.
  • Contributes to developing TJX's AI governance framework.
  • Promotes the goals of the AI compliance program across TJX.
  • Facilitates the creation of various AI or related privacy documentation such as disclosures and notices and Impact Assessments/Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  • Conducts research, monitors trends, and provides analysis about how AI and data protection law developments may impact the company's AI compliance program.
  • Coordinates and communicates with individuals and groups throughout the company, including senior management, IT, Legal and Cybersecurity, as necessary to maintain, improve, and support the goals of AI compliance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For: You
  • 3-4 years compliance, AI, consulting, or similar experience evaluating and assessing AI tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree or technical/AI certifications (e.g., International Association of Privacy Professionals AI Governance Professional) a plus.
  • Working knowledge of AI technologies and concepts including machine learning, generative AI, and large language models required.
  • Working knowledge of global AI laws and regulations such as the EU AI Act and Colorado AI Act required.
  • Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as NIST AI RMF a plus.
  • Experience working with global functions (e.g., Privacy, Legal, Cybersecurity and Architecture) a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Pragmatic thinker with practical commonsense approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, collaborate and build effective working relationships with internal partners across the organization.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, can prioritize multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft platform technologies (e.g., SharePoint).

This position has a starting salary range of $85,600.00 to $109,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
