Job Summary:

The BI Reporting & AI Analyst role involves designing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and reports, leveraging advanced analytics and AI to improve data quality and accelerate analytics delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports using Tableau, QuickSight, Qlik, Appian or similar tools
• Develop and manage paginated and ad hoc reports for program teams, leadership, and government customers
• Build and optimize data models, calculated measures and data transformations to support accurate, scalable reporting
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading from multiple sources
• Respond to ad hoc data calls and reporting requests from program teams and government customers with quick turnaround
• Perform data quality assurance, validation, and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity
• Leverage AI-powered analytics features (e.g., AI-driven insights, natural language queries) to enhance dashboard capabilities and user experience
• Apply advanced analytic techniques to solve business problems and address needs
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and data workflows using AI tools, scripting, or low-code platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into effective data visualizations
• Present visualizations and findings to stakeholders and program teams
• Support data migration efforts, system integrations, and BI tool evaluation initiatives
• Create and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures
• Monitor dashboard performance, troubleshoot data issues, and implement continuous improvements to reporting solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, statistics, or related
• 3+ years of experience in BI development, data analytics, or reporting
• Strong proficiency in Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, or similar BI platforms, including data modeling and calculated field development
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms and data services (Databricks, Palantir Foundry, AWS QuickSight, Azure Synapse, Google Looker)
• Solid SQL skills with experience writing complex queries against relational databases (e.g., Redshift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Experience designing star/snowflake schemas and building scalable data models
• Experience handling semi-unstructured and unstructured data
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear, impactful data visualizations
• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and other advanced analytics capabilities
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred:
• Master's degree in data science, analytics, information systems, or related field
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Experience with AI-enhanced analytics tools (e.g., Qlik Insight Advisor, Tableau AI, natural language query features)
• Python or R scripting skills for data manipulation, automation, or advanced analytics
• Familiarity with cutting edge standards for enterprise data architecture (e.g., Palantir Foundry Ontology, Appian data fabric)
• Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft PL-300, or similar BI certification
• Experience with ETL tools or frameworks (SSIS, Informatica, AWS Glue, or custom pipelines)
• Familiarity with Appian, SharePoint, or other enterprise platforms
• Familiarity with DoD contract writing system data structures (Procurement Data Standard (PDS))
• Experience supporting federal government or DoD customers
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST 800-171)
• Google Associate Cloud Engineer or similar cloud certification
