Title:ย
AI Agent Developer โ€“ BA Specialization
Location: Warren, NJ
Position type: W2 contract

Overview:
We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) domain expert with a proven track record in AI/agent development. You will design and implement AI-powered BA agents capable of requirement elicitation, documentation, user story generation, mapping business flows, and stakeholder support. Youโ€™ll combine hands-on agent development with a deep understanding of the BA role to radically enhance digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current BA processes and design agentic solutions to support or automate needs assessment, requirement documentation, and workflow modeling.
  • Architect, build, and optimize BA agents (using LLM and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, or similar).
  • Engineer prompt chains and context augmentation for LLMs to handle stakeholder queries, document requirements, and draft process flows or business rules.
  • Integrate agents with collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, Slack, etc.) to enhance business process documentation and traceability.
  • Work with BA and product teams to curate domain-specific corpora, refine agent behavior, and validate outputs.
  • Evaluate agent accuracy, relevance, and utility with real-world BA tasks and continuous feedback loops.
  • Track and optimize agent adoption, report metrics, and document design and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Requirements Engineer, or Process Analyst.
  • 1+ years developing or deploying AI/LLM-based applications, chatbots, or workflow automation.
  • Proficient in Python (must); experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skill using agent and LLM frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Vertex AI, etc.
  • Strong background in business process mapping, requirements engineering, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and ability to translate BA logic into functional agent design and actionable code.

Bonus/Preferred Skills

  • Built or co-developed AI/LLM-powered tools for requirements gathering, process analysis, or workflow automation.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning LLM agents, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., CrewAI, AutoGen).
  • Published work or open-source contributions in โ€œAI for business analysisโ€ or related areas.
