Search & Comparison IntentUnderstanding entry-level AI rolesComparing AI-related roles with data analysis

Entry Level Ai Agents typically focus on supporting AI systems, understanding basic AI tools, and assisting in AI-related tasks. Data Analysts analyze data to generate insights and support decision-making. While both roles involve data and technology, Entry Level Ai Agents are more aligned with AI system support, whereas Data Analysts focus on data interpretation and reporting.

How much do AI agents make?

Entry-level AI agents typically earn between $40,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on the industry, location, and specific responsibilities. Salaries can increase with experience, specialized skills in machine learning or data analysis, and certifications in AI tools or programming languages.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Entry Level AI Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level AI Agent, you need a basic understanding of machine learning concepts, programming skills (often Python), and a relevant degree or coursework in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is commonly required. Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and effective communication help individuals learn quickly and collaborate on projects. These skills enable entry-level agents to contribute meaningfully to AI development, troubleshoot models, and integrate smoothly into technical teams.

What is a $900000 AI job?

A $900,000 AI job typically refers to high-level roles in artificial intelligence, such as senior data scientists, AI research directors, or machine learning executives, often requiring advanced skills, experience, and sometimes specialized certifications. These positions usually involve leadership, strategic planning, and cutting-edge development in AI technologies, and they tend to be found in large tech companies or specialized AI firms.

What are entry level AI agents?

Entry level AI agents are software programs or applications that use artificial intelligence to perform basic, repetitive, or straightforward tasks with minimal human supervision. These agents are designed to automate simple processes such as scheduling, responding to common queries, data entry, or basic customer support. They typically require less training or customization compared to more advanced AI systems and are often used by businesses to improve efficiency in everyday operations. Entry level AI agents can be found in chatbots, virtual assistants, and workflow automation tools. As technology evolves, their capabilities continue to expand, making them valuable assets in many industries.

What types of projects or tasks can an Entry Level AI Agent expect to work on in their first year?

As an Entry Level AI Agent, you'll typically work on a variety of foundational tasks such as data preprocessing, model training, testing, and basic troubleshooting under the guidance of more experienced team members. You may assist in gathering and labeling data, running experiments, and evaluating model performance. Collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers is common, providing valuable exposure to the AI development lifecycle. This hands-on experience helps you build core technical and teamwork skills, setting the stage for more advanced responsibilities as you gain confidence and expertise.

Can I get an AI job with no experience?

Entry level AI agent positions often do not require extensive experience and may accept candidates with basic programming skills, familiarity with AI concepts, or relevant certifications. Gaining knowledge in machine learning, Python, and data analysis can improve chances, and internships or online courses can help build necessary skills for entry-level roles.

Job description

AI Engineer (Entry-Level) - Agents & Experimentation
For more than 25 years, Asurion has led innovation in tech solutions while building a culture where employees feel valued and supported. We help people stay connected by providing expert advice, reliable repair services, and device protection across all their technology.
We are looking for an entry-level AI Engineer to join our internal AI lab and help build, test, and deploy AI-powered agents across business workflows. This role is ideal for someone who learns by doing, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited about experimenting with cutting-edge AI models and tools.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to turn early ideas into working prototypes and explore where AI can create real operational impact.
What You'll Do
  • Build and deploy AI agents for internal tools and customer-facing use cases
  • Experiment with frontier and open-source models (e.g., Claude, GPT-based models, and emerging frameworks)
  • Rapidly prototype ideas, test performance, and iterate based on results
  • Integrate AI models with APIs, workflows, and business systems
  • Research and apply new AI tools, libraries, and agent frameworks as they emerge
  • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency or automation

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (completed or in progress)
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
  • Experience working with APIs and basic backend integration
  • Demonstrated curiosity in AI/ML through personal projects, experiments, or coursework
  • High ownership mindset - able to take vague problems and build solutions independently
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments with minimal structure
  • Strong problem-solving and experimentation mindset

Nice to Have
  • Experience building personal AI projects, bots, or automation tools
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or deployment tools
  • GitHub portfolio or live projects

Note: AI Projects Portfolio Request
Please prepare a portfolio showcasing the AI projects completed so far. The portfolio should include a brief description of each project, its purpose, key features, tools/technologies used, and the current status or outcomes. This will help provide a clear overview of the work completed to date.
