About the Role

This dynamic and busy role will utilise your experience in Medical and Rescue Emergency Response & Injury and Health Management and offer rewarding career opportunity. You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities in a mining environment.This role offers a roster providing work life balance off - 7 on/ 7 off roster with both day/night rotations. This position is based in Moranbah QLD and is a FIFO role for those who do not reside locally.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide first response to incidents on site
  • Assist a team of Paramedics, Nurses and ESO's to respond to emergency situations
  • Assist with training and HSE activities as required

Requirements

  • At least 2 years hands on experience
  • Degree in Paramedicine
  • AHPRA Registration
  • HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
  • Australian Driver's License - C Class, open license (Manual, Heavy Rigid is desirable or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • Current up to date immunizations - Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
  • All successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment Medical and National Police Check.
