Join Our Team as a Safety & Security Manager!

As our Safety and Security Manager, you'll be the driving force behind creative security solutionsplotting bold strategies, taming potential risks, and steering our security budget with finesse. In this exciting role, you'll champion innovative safety programs and join forces with teams across the hotel, making sure everyone's working together for a safe and welcoming environment.

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mission: Secure Success Plan and roll out innovative security strategies that keep our hotel safe and ahead of the curve.
  • Threat Detective Extraordinaire Stay one step ahead by spotting and neutralizing potential risks before they become issues.
  • Budget Boss Take charge of the security budget with smart management and deliver financial insights that drive top-level decisions.
  • Blueprint Mastermind Lead the design and continuous improvement of our security plans, making sure they reflect industry excellence and our company's values.
  • Teamwork Transformer Join forces across departments for an all-hands-on-deck approach to keeping our environment secure.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or a closely related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in safety and security management, with a focus on strategic planning and risk management.
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
  • Must have a valid Driver License for the applicable State.
  • Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License, including applicable background checks, per State requirements.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED Certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross or HSI.
  • AHLA Certified Lodging Security Director certification completed within 60 days of hire.
