Account Manager Americas (Nouryon Surface Chemistry LLC) (Houston, TX): Identify business growth opportunities for the Americas region; Design and execute the business strategy for Central America in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager and global marketing and global key account managers; Develop growth opportunities, track the prospect-to-customer pipeline, and collaborate with global account managers to discuss commercial strategy to global customers; Interact with customers to maintain and develop business relationships; Support company prospects, new customers, and long-term account holders in the Central American region; Conduct market research and supply chain analysis to outperform market competitors; Identify production scenarios and tolling partnerships to increase the company's supply capacity and establish a network of distributors; Drive the sales of assigned accounts and deliver financial and strategic goals, strategically acting upon customers’ needs and behaviors; Coordinate with customer service and business planning teams to ensure adequate supply and service level to customers; Create compelling sales pitches to establish customer relationships and facilitate new sales; and Work cross-functionally with internal team members and external stakeholders. The following skills and experience are required in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience in account management, business development, or sales in the chemical or agrochemical industry; Experience with commercial responsibility for regional or multinational accounts, pricing execution, and coordination with global stakeholders; Experience with B2B Specialty Chemical or agrochemicals sales; Experience managing and growing national and multi-national accounts, including ownership of account strategy, contracts, and strategy execution; Experience developing and working in a team culture with other internal departments, including R&D, customer service, and supply chain; Experience using a CRM platform (Salesforce or similar) for opportunity tracking and reporting; Experience with pricing entry, forecasting, and customer master data; Experience with crop protection formulations, tank-mix adjuvants, and micronutrient applications; Experience managing cross-border commercial activities and international customers; and Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including supply chain, technical service, and Finance. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Agronomy, Economics or a related field, and at least two years of experience as an Agrochemical Account Analyst or a related occupation. Travel is required approximately 50% of the time within the U.S. Option to work from home is available. Salary: $111,900 - $183,885/year.
