Job description

Frontier Cooperative is an AG leader in Nebraska providing Grain, Agronomy, Feed and Energy products and services to our customers. At Frontier, we have a long standing tradition of successful partnerships with our customers by managing our business with the highest integrity and quality while being responsible stewards in our communities.
Frontier Cooperative is offering an exciting career opportunity to the right individual that can provide a high level of operational skills and lead other operational employees at our agronomy center as an Agronomy Location Manager in North Bend, NE.
The successful candidate will take the lead role to oversee the day to day operations and provide leadership to the employees assigned to this agronomy center. In addition, this position will be expected to;
  • Maintain quality customer standards, promote products and services.
  • Actively participates in the maintenance, services and repairs of the entire infrastructure and grounds.
  • Oversees the operations of chemical and anhydrous ammonia plants.
  • Assists in developing and coordinating employee applicators and tender drivers schedules.
  • Assists in the monthly inventory functions of this facility.
  • Provides for a safe environment by ensuring compliance of all OSHA, EPA and company safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:
This is a working position and will be expected to perform all duties of this facility. Must be able to work various shifts and weekends when called upon to during peak seasons.
Requires agriculture related experience in an agronomy facility. In addition, preference will be given for a CDL Class A or B license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and/or have the ability to obtain CDL/endorsements within 60 days of employment.
