Job description

Job Description: The Location Manager will oversee the daily operations of the grain facility to achieve the best efficiencies and financial returns for Ag Valley Co-op.Job Duties: Supervise daily operations of the grain facility.Coordinate the movement of personnel with the Regional Manager to achieve labor efficiencies at the grain facility in conjunction with neighboring Ag Valley grain facilities.Schedule movement of grain.Manage grain inventories for stringent quality standards and storage practices.Inspect equipment and facilities and report to the Regional Manager any deficiencies; ensure that deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner.Schedule and coordinate equipment repair and maintenance.Identify and recommend the requisition of major fixed assets.Maintain daily communications with employees, office staff, and the Regional Manager.Work with the Safety Director to ensure compliance of all safety policies, programs and trainings.Maintain all required OSHA reporting.Attend all company meetings deemed necessary by managementQualifications, Experience Requirements:Three years of operational grain elevator experienceAssociates degree or higher educationSelf-motivated, dependable, organized, individual with an acute attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsValid Commercial Driver's License preferred but not requiredBasic computer skills including spreadsheet analysis and word processingDrug Screen will be required upon job offer.
