Core & Agility Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Core & Agility Physical Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and identify movement dysfunctions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target individual patient needs and recovery objectives.
  • Guide patients in the proper use of therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand the purpose and benefits of each exercise.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, tissue mobilization, and electrical stimulation to promote healing and recover function.
  • Assist patients in navigating equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, enabling them to regain their independence.
  • Regularly maintain and update patient records, tracking progress towards established rehabilitation goals.
  • Advise patients and their families on effective in-home treatment options to complement professional care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
