We are expanding our Business Development/Capture/proposal team. This person will be a key member of our dynamic and growing leadership team responsible for developing pipeline to significantly accelerate Agility Technologies Inc. (“Agility”) growth in the Federal Government Defense, Federal commercial, State and Local opportunities. 
Job Duties 
  • Create Federal Commercial and Defense Agency business development strategies
  • Creates and manages a robust pipeline of new opportunities in line with Agility capabilities and growth strategies
  • Define and execute capture plans and develop customer needs for identified opportunities.
  • For specific opportunities, create win plans, develop teaming arrangements, and identify win themes and differentiators. Interact with client executives to understand major requirements, current issues, and strategies.
  • Support the proposal development process as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers and knowledge of industry competitors and technology providers.
Jobs Requirements
  • 5+years of experience within a professional organization focused on federal government and defense marketing and sales or a related role, especially in the DHS space.  
  • Experience in managing the full scope of business practices required to manage a book of business, including business development, capture, pipeline development, and proposal development responsibilities 
  • Experience with identifying and capturing moderately complex, small to mid-size DHS opportunities in line with Agility capabilities like Agile DevSecOps, Software solutions, Advanced Analytics like Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, Cloud and Infrastructure, Cyber, Business Strategy, and Process improvement, Help Desk, Program Management.
  • Experience in leading multiple opportunities through the capture process
  • Proven experience meeting sales growth through new business and organic growth
  • Experience with reading and understanding government solicitation documents, and bid protests
  • Experience with playing a leading role on formal proposal submissions and managing/contributing to winning proposal content
  • Experience with industry and networks of relationships across businesses of varying sizes
  • Experience in proposal pricing methodologies and strategies
  • Experience with presenting to senior leadership and working within a diverse team construct
  • Verifiable, existing customer relationships within civilian and defense agencies
  • Technology familiarity and ability to describe company’s value proposition in existing and emerging technology areas, such as Digital Transformation, Software Solutions, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Data Analytics, Cloud Services, and Digital Services
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
