Position: Technical Project Manager – FileNet to SharePoint Migration (ECM)

Location: Downtown / Houston, TX

Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid (4 days / 1 days)

Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead an IBM FileNet to SharePoint Online migration project. The candidate should have strong experience managing enterprise projects, working with business stakeholders, leading teams, and driving Agile delivery.

This person will coordinate migration activities, manage risks/issues, communicate with leadership, and ensure successful delivery from planning through Go-Live.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end FileNet to SharePoint migration projects

Work closely with business users, leadership teams, and technical teams

Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)

Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and risks

Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, and migration teams

Track project status and provide executive updates

Support UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities

Drive user adoption and training initiatives

Required Skills / Must Have:

Project Management experience (8+ years)

Experience managing ECM / Content Management projects

Experience with IBM FileNet and/or SharePoint Online

Strong Agile/Scrum experience

Stakeholder management and executive communication

Experience handling risks, issues, dependencies, and project reporting

Preferred Skills

FileNet to SharePoint migration experience

ShareGate / AvePoint migration tools

Power Automate exposure

Microsoft 365 ecosystem knowledge

CSM / PMP / SAFe certification

Experience Required

12+ years overall IT experience

8+ years as Project Manager
