Job description

Job Title:  Project Manager

Location:  Houston, TX
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of network infrastructure components within corporate real estate projects, working closely with global and local facilities teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including design, costing, approvals (internal and external), and implementation of network deliverables aligned with broader real estate objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely deployment of standardized network infrastructure as part of facility build-outs, renovations, or relocations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation for all network-related deliverables, ensuring records are stored in the designated system of record for future reference and compliance.
  • Oversee Transition-to-Operations (TTO) activities post-project completion, ensuring seamless handover to operations and support teams in accordance with organizational processes.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved financial plans and providing accurate expenditure reports to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications for this Role 

The candidate should possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with acknowledged skills of managing people, process and business priorities of professional projects.. Familiarity with Project Management Core Concepts, Predictive – Plan based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks/Methodologies and Business Analysis Frameworks. 

The PMP certification requires 60 months’ worth of experience, leading and managing professional Infrastructure projects within the past eight years. 

This role requires an in-depth and practical knowledge/experience of the different physical components that are required in the design, cost estimation, and deployment on a DT Real Estate Project.

These include passive and active infrastructure devices.

(Passive infrastructure include cabling designs and standards, Rack and power conditioning, AV fundamentals.

Active components include the Networking hardware devices that form the physical foundation of the network infrastructure as well as Audio-Visual components related to Voice/Video/Teams infrastructure.). In addition, in-depth knowledge related to IT Rooms/Data Center requirements such as Layouts, equipment, AC power (raw and UPS conditioning), HVAC, grounding, Fire suppression, Infrastructure Security is a must.
