General Summary

The Procurement Manager for the Aggregates Division is responsible for leading all sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities across multiple plant locations. This position ensures the timely and cost-effective procurement of parts, equipment, and services that support production, maintenance, and operational reliability. The role focuses on developing supplier partnerships, improving procurement practices, enforcing contract standards, and delivering value through strategic sourcing.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities (Essential Functions)

โ€ข Lead the end-to-end procurement process for the division, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order creation.
โ€ข Partner with plant managers, maintenance supervisors, and foremen to identify purchasing needs and ensure availability of critical parts and services.
โ€ข Develop, maintain, and evaluate vendor relationships to improve cost competitiveness, service quality, and delivery performance.
โ€ข Solicit quotes and compare vendor options for compliance with specifications, pricing, lead time, and terms.
โ€ข Execute purchase agreements and service contracts in alignment with company policies and legal standards.
โ€ข Monitor budget adherence and support cost control initiatives by analyzing purchasing patterns and identifying savings opportunities.
โ€ข Enforce use of standard procurement processes and approval workflows, ensuring alignment with internal controls.
โ€ข Maintain accurate procurement documentation including requisitions, quotes, purchase orders, and delivery confirmations.
