About the Agency Account Executive - Reddit
MarketStar is seeking an Agency Account Executive - (CP) to join us in our Ogden, UT location representing Reddit. In this role you will work with Advertising Agencies to proactively manage partnerships, ensuring that agency contacts and are satisfied and that their business objectives are met using Reddit's advertising solutions. Reddit is one of the hottest social media names on the market, and you will be part of the rocket ship that created the "Reddit Effect"! As an Agency Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from lead to close, working with small to mid-size businesses. CPs draw daily on both their skills in managing client relationships and utilizing the data provided to make strategic and thoughtful decisions. The right candidate will be instrumental in providing value both to Reddit and to the advertisers they support.

What Will You Do?
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of agency accounts through proactive client engagement, strategic account planning, and consultative selling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and drive long-term client success.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand business objectives, campaign performance, and advertiser needs.
  • Develop and present tailored media solutions that align with client goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Own account retention, renewal, and expansion efforts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Translate campaign performance metrics and data insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Prioritize and manage a high-volume book of business while maintaining consistent account coverage and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, account activity, and client records within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor digital advertising trends, platform capabilities, and competitive activity to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling client presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations that demonstrate value and drive adoption.
  • Follow best practices for campaign setup and optimization, including audience strategy, budgeting, flight durations, and performance measurement.
  • Ensure compliance with advertising policies, platform guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed quota, retention, and account growth objectives.

What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, agency partnerships, digital advertising, ad-tech, or media sales environments.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, solution development, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to independently manage client relationships while driving retention, revenue growth, and account expansion.
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising concepts, campaign structures, audience targeting, and performance metrics such as CPM, CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
  • Experience maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.

Compensation Range: $45,000 - $55,000 USD
The hourly pay range for this position is between $19.23 and $21.63 USD. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $5,000 - $10,000 USD annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills. Your recruiter will provide more detailed information during the interview process.
