Pay Range:

$16.90 - $26.00

Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

  • Some college credits (48 Units)
  • State & federal background checks
  • You must provide contact information for three references, at least one of which must be from a role involving work with children (non-family related).
  • TB risk assessment or test

Youll Stand Out If You:

  • Have experience working in Special Education
  • Have experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Are available 5 days a week from Monday to Friday
  • Can commit to daily 4 hour shifts, between the time of 1pm - 6pm

What Youll Do:

  • Support and engage students during afterschool activities, including homework help, enrichment, and structured play
  • Supervise students to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors
  • Assist staff with daily program routines, transitions, and behavior management while building strong student relationships
  • Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
  • Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
  • Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process
