Job description

We are seeking an Afternoon Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will assist with age appropriate activities for children.

Hours: Weekdays (Mon-Fri) 3PM-6PM

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor

Children's Discovery Center (CDC) is different than most childcare facilities. We are the largest privately owned preschool in Wake County, but we have real relationships with the teachers and parents. Community at our school is our biggest appeal.
