Disaster Restoration Technician - Full Time ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo | Kalamazoo, MI
I. About Us

II. Role Overview
  • Full-time, hands-on disaster restoration work
  • Residential and commercial properties
  • Work alongside crew and crew leads from first response through job completion
  • Rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency dispatch

III. Key Responsibilities
  • Water extraction, structural drying, and equipment monitoring (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)
  • Fire, smoke, and odor remediation
  • Demolition of damaged materials
  • Job documentation - photos, moisture readings, written notes
  • Professional, empathetic communication with customers on-site
