Job description

Sleep Lab Technician - PRN
Summary: Responsible for providing basic and advanced sleep disorders services. The technician must set-up, monitor, and evaluate patients with possible sleep disorders. Technicians must also be able to set-up BIPAP/CPAP.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Provide explanation and instructions to patient and/or responsible persons and ensure understanding of sleep disorder.
  • Assist special needs patients and evaluate patient outcomes.

Education: Graduate of approved respiratory school and passed the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) test. CPR certified.
Experience: Prefer 1 year experience in respiratory and sleep lab environment.
