Plating Operator

RIE is looking for a dependable, hardworking Plating Operator to join our metal finishing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing high-quality products, and want to build a career in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
Previous experience in plating, electropolishing, metal finishing, or manufacturing is a plus-but it's not required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
What You'll Do
As a Plating Operator, you'll play an important role in producing quality metal-finished products for customers in a variety of industries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Rack, mask, clean, rinse, and inspect parts for processing
- Operate and monitor plating equipment and production lines
- Follow established process instructions and adjust equipment as required
- Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure quality standards are met
- Record production information and process data accurately
- Maintain required production and quality documentation
- Work closely with teammates to meet production schedules
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Assist with other production duties as assigned

- Manufacturing or metal finishing experience is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 65 pounds and rarely up to 75 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Maintain good hand-eye coordination and visual attention to detail
- Work around chemicals, coatings, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6am – 3:30pm and Fridays, 6am – 2pm
Overtime: Occasionally overtime may be needed on a Saturday.
