Position Summary

The Sales Performance Analytics Leader leads a team of Data Engineers and BI Developers while shaping a more strategic, product and outcome-oriented analytics capability across the commercial sales environment. This role is responsible for advancing analytics, forecasting, and AI-enabled insights that drive business outcomes, strengthen decision-making, and support evolving enterprise priorities while staying closely connected to Field needs. This leader sets direction for the team, establishes priorities, and ensures high-quality execution across analytics products, dashboard enhancements, and reporting solutions. The role balances day-to-day delivery with longer-term capability building, ensuring the DataMart and related analytics assets remain scalable, reliable, and aligned to business goals. Working in close partnership with business analysts, IT developers and architects, and business stakeholders, this role translates business demand into scalable insights solutions, drives continuous improvement, and supports sustainable development aligned to governance and company standards. The role also helps strengthen usability, release readiness, and the organization\'s broader ability to leverage analytics and AI in support of business transformation.

What you will do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Performance Analytics team
  • Drive the strategy and evolution of analytics, forecasting, insights, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Shape a product and outcome-oriented roadmap aligned to business and Field priorities
  • Bring an enterprise perspective to analytics decisions while staying closely connected to Field needs
  • Translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions that improve decision-making and performance
  • Set team priorities across support, enhancements, and strategic capability-building work
  • Oversee service tickets, configuration changes, and core data load activities
  • Drive continuous improvement in platform usability, operational consistency, and team effectiveness
  • Partner cross-functionally to support platform changes, integration readiness, and adoption
  • Maintain accountability for platform stability, operational health, and administrator-owned processes
Required Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales analytics, commercial analytics, or business intelligence
  • Health plan/payer or large provider systems knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience setting strategic direction and leading teams
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior sales leadership to define KPI\'s, improve forecasting, and turn analytics into actionable sales strategies
  • Strong technical and analytical capability in tools such as Salesforce, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Excel and data visualization platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4-5 years within a Sales or Sales Enablement organization
  • Strong understanding of the Aetna Healthcare Business
  • 3+ years in people leadership
Education
  • bachelor\'s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company\'s equity award program.
