CERTIFICATED SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
ON-CALL/AS NEEDED


QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
  • Ability and desire to work with students and families from a diverse cultural, social and economic background.
  • Must be willing to follow lesson plans and maintain classroom order.
  • Must be willing to use the AESOP substitute system.
  • Working home or cell phone required.
  • Internet highly preferred for online AESOP substitute system.
  • Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
 
REQUIREMENT FOR EMPLOYMENT:
 
A background check through the FBI and WSP. Toppenish School District require Emergency Substitute Teachers to complete one-day training before being assigned.
