Job Description
Envisioneering, Inc. is a veteran-owned small business with over 30 years of experience dedicated to mission support and technology development for US national defense. We are seeking a Program Manager (PM) to support our current work with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) .
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) performs applied research and development, systems engineering, and applications-oriented activities to preserve and enhance a strong aerospace systems technology base, and to provide expert capabilities in the development, acquisition, and operation of aerospace systems. This position will provide program and technical oversight and operate as the primary liaison to the NRL customer for the task.
  • Provide oversight/ management of the task support .
  • Serve as a technical lead in the development of research and development efforts and contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members.
  • Recognize novel technical problems that arise in the design work and generate research assignments to address technical issues.
  • Assist to define and advise on system performance requirements.
  • Assessing and ensuring compliance of program deliverables and ensure that performance meets all Government contracting requirements within cost and schedule.
  • Assist to identify areas that could benefit in improved performance, capacity, reliability, efficiency, and/or life cycle cost.
  • Develop Project Management Plans for task execution and establish project guidelines that meet contractual requirements, as well as Envisioneering's corporate practices and procedures.
  • Assist in the capture of monthly progress reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, and issues/concerns arising or potentially arising in the following month's efforts, (submitted monthly).
  • Develop POA&Ms and track based on Statement of Work (SOW) requirements.
  • Run weekly/biweekly meetings amongst stakeholders.
  • Operate as primary liaison to the NRL customer for the task.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Sedentary/10 lbs. maximum occasional life/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • At least five years of related Engineering experience.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a physics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering field.
  • Familiar with DoD and USN Systems Engineering and Acquisition practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex projects.
  • Experience in identifying, evaluating architectural, and technology alternatives and in identifying and quantifying related risks.
  • Familiar with standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite in order to support system documentation efforts.
  • Experience in producing and presenting briefings for technical, programmatic, and executive level audiences.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance* required at time of hire with the ability to obtain Top Secret.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelors of Science and/or Masters desired in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college or university.

SALARY RANGE:$119,000.00 - $180,000.00
