Job description

Job Title: Electromechanical Repair Technician (Aerospace)
Marketing Message
Join a leading Long Island aerospace solutions provider specializing in advanced repair, manufacturing, and custom engineering. Be part of a hands-on team supporting critical aircraft components and high-precision systems.
Key Responsibilities
Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical aircraft components per technical data
Perform assembly, soldering, and re-manufacturing of mechanical and electronic parts
Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and procedures to ensure accurate repairs
Maintain documentation, support team objectives, and uphold a clean, organized workspace
Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related technical repair experience
Proficiency in electrical or circuit board soldering and use of basic hand tools
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed written procedures
Strong attention to detail, reliability, computer skills, and English proficiency
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, marine, or electronics repair industries
Technical degree, trade school training, or A&P certification (a plus)
