Senior Accountant - Aerospace & Space Technology (GovCon)

As a Senior Accountant (General Ledger), you'll be a key player in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance for mission-critical programs. This is an opportunity to work in a high-growth GovCon environment, supporting projects that matter on a national scale.
What You'll Do
  • Own general ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate revenue recognition for government contracts (T&M, CPFF, FFP)
  • Apply and monitor indirect cost rates and support Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Partner across departments to resolve variances and improve processes
  • Support audit prep, tax filings, and ERP integration initiatives

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of accounting experience, including payroll
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and GovCon exposure (FAR/CAS compliance)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ADP and ERP systems (Navision/Business Central preferred)
  • CPA or payroll certifications a plus
