Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a Lead, Product Manager to join our growing Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment Missile Solutions Sector facility in Orange, Virginia. The Lead, Product Manager is a key product-centric leadership role that reports into site leadership and is also the liaison between the program office and the Camden facility. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) to achieve a product line's delivery, quality and cost goals.

 

Essential Functions:

         Manage all delivery, quality, schedule, and cost targets associated with a program's production.

         Develop and execute the Production Integrated Product Team (P-IPT) business rhythm.

         Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery commitments.

         Develop and maintain customer relationships.

         Manage financial impacts and program budgets (EVM & Control Account Manager Duties), Safety, Security, PP&C, Global Supply Chain and IT.

         Lead the Production IPT alignment for the operations site teams to successfully execute program requirements relative to delivery, quality, schedule, cost, and performance.

         Interface with site leadership, program management, and customer to ensure the program needs and site plans are in alignment.

         Develop recovery plans when issues arise and coordinate applicable corrective actions.

         Business Travel up to 10% to L3Harris or customer sites

 Qualifications:

         Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant operations, program or product management experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related operations, program or product management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

         5+ years experience within manufacturing/production in the aerospace and defense industry.

         Active US Secret Security Clearance.

 Preferred Additional Skills:

         Experience and familiarity with MS Office products.

         Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to technical problems with minimum supervision.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virginia is $106,000 - $197,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
