Overview

The DENAVA Group operates in the rapidly growing field of the food supplement and animal feed industry, serving its customers as a supplier and service provider. The group of companies includes the subsidiaries GoCaps GmbH, supplier of empty hard capsules, and Goerlich Pharma GmbH, contract manufacturing and packaging for food supplements.

Position

We are seeking to fill a position at our company headquarters in Edling as soon as possible. The role will work closely with the CEO. As CFO, you will have overall responsibility for finance, controlling, and accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Personnel management, leadership and development of managers and specialists in subordinate areas.
  • Responsibility for external and internal reporting.
  • Responsibility for insurance matters within the group.
  • Lead responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements and reports in compliance with commercial and tax law regulations.
  • Handling legal matters within the area of responsibility (corporate law, commercial law, contract law, tax law, tenancy law, etc.).
  • Reporting, analysis and communication of key economic indicators for the CEO, advisory board, shareholders, banks and stakeholders.
  • Preparation of key figures and financial statements, as well as the resulting implications, for advisory boards and shareholders.
  • Responsibility for controlling and auditing, analysis of key performance indicators, target/actual comparisons, cost‑benefit analyses.
  • Development of the corporate strategy, including its operational implementation, jointly within the management team.
  • Analysis of company structures, optimization and further development of operational processes.
  • Identification of development opportunities, cost reductions and system improvements.
  • Consulting on business management issues in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Management of due diligence and M&A processes.
  • Budget and liquidity planning, procurement and management, development of suitable financing strategies.
  • Creating added value from financial investments.
  • Design of a control system for strategic planning and budgeting via reporting and ensuring functionality.
  • Head of financial communications for all corporate events.
Requirements, skills and personality
  • Successfully completed university degree in economics.
  • Ideally, approximately 4‑5 years of experience in a leading auditing or tax consulting firm.
  • Several years of professional and management experience (at least 10 years) in a leading position in the field of finance, controlling, accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Extensive experience in a responsible position in medium‑sized companies, ideally in a family company.
  • Experience in manufacturing companies is desirable.
  • Operational knowledge in the area of German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax law issues.
  • Knowledge of legal matters within the area of responsibility (corporate law, commercial law, contract law, tenancy law, etc.).
  • Experience in initiating and implementing M&A projects, setting up branches, transformation and diversification processes, digitization projects, etc.
  • Knowledge of the relevant IT systems and processes.
  • Personal and professional authority, empathy, integrity, loyalty and being an absolute “team player.”
  • Assertiveness, pragmatic thinking and working style, absolute reliability.
  • Conflict resolution skills, initiative, and a structured work approach.
  • Enjoyment of cross‑departmental communication and collaboration.
