Job description

PLUS Communications is a full-service communications firm based in Arlington, Virginia. PLUS Communications leads award-winning campaigns integrating public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising and media buying. PLUS means more!

PLUS Communications is looking for an Associate to join its growing Digital Advertising team. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with digital advertising placements on platforms like Facebook or Google, a familiarity with basic KPIs for digital campaigns, and an eagerness to learn and expand their capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the digital space, an excellent attention to detail, and a can-do attitude to help deliver victories for our public affairs clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with trafficking advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google platforms, developing a strong understanding placement capabilities and optimization strategies to deliver high quality campaigns for clients
  • Provide day-to-day support with pacing updates, campaign monitoring, audience projections and targeting, and other projects
  • Contribute to client advertising reports, utilizing strong Excel skills and an excellent attention to detail to deliver error-free updates
  • Collaborate closely within the digital advertising team

Requirements

About YOU:
  • The equivalent of one semester or 6 months of a digital focused internship or relevant job experience
  • A basic understanding of Excel with the ability to learn and execute fundamental functions and formatting
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Previous experience working in or a keen interest in the public affairs or political industry is a plus
  • An understanding of Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, DCM or other digital first platforms is not a requirement, but a helpful plus

Benefits

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule that includes both in-office and remote work. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime pay.

The budgeted salary is $55,000 and there is an opportunity for a year-end bonus. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance. We also offer a paid parental leave program, paid vacation and paid sick leave. In addition, we have a work from home hybrid environment.
