Job description

THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for a Manager, Martech Solutions to lead exploration, adoption, and integration of new technologies that drive customer retention and acquisition efforts. You will play a key role on the Marketing Technology team, overseeing a portfolio of technology that delivers customer acquisition and retention experiences through behavioral segmentation strategy, innovative usage of content and orchestration tools, and solutions engineering across marketing and promotion systems to optimize capabilities for our customers. You will collaborate with multiple departments within the company including, but not limited to Marketing Strategy, Promotions, Brand, Commercial, Data Science, Product, and Engineering to efficiently acquire and retain customers. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue-driving marketing initiatives through both capability enablement and technical solutions delivery at a premier gaming company.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Drive technology transformation and marketing innovation by scoping, integrating, and enabling new capabilities across FanDuel's MarTech stack - translating business needs into solutions that position FanDuel for industry leadership.
  • Translate business requirements from Marketing, Commercial, and Product teams into technical specifications, integration designs, and phased delivery plans - bridging the gap between MarTech capability and engineering execution.
  • Own solutions engineering across FanDuel's internal MarTech systems - scoping integration requirements, designing scalable architectures, and delivering end-to-end capability builds that connect data, platforms, and marketing execution.
  • Own data integrations, model-driven marketing, and AI incorporation across MarTech tools - designing API and event-based connections between internal systems to enable content creation, marketing insights, and stack evolution.
  • Serve as a key solutions partner for Customer Marketing, Technology, and Product teams - scoping requirements, defining integration approaches, and ensuring capabilities are introduced and leveraged by operating teams for end-to-end execution.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to evaluate build vs. buy tradeoffs, define technical standards for new tool onboarding, and maintain a solutions architecture that evolves with FanDuel's internal systems.
  • Understand the marketing and advertising technology landscape to identify capability gaps, evaluate build vs. buy tradeoffs, and source the right partners or internal solutions to fit FanDuel's needs.
  • Champion ways of working and prioritization of work across all business units to ensure work is tracked and shared progress with stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and product functions.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 7+ years plus experience in marketing technology, transformation, or solutions engineering role leadership preferred.
  • Experience in developing new capabilities through current technologies and implementing new solutions across multiple 3rd party marketing technology partners and their capabilities.
  • Expertise in developing sophisticated and personalized customer marketing campaigns via marketing technology, promotional/offer management platforms, and data warehouses - with hands-on experience integrating MarTech tools across internal systems via APIs or event pipelines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders across products.
  • Demonstrated experience driving ideas and operations adoption through coaching, influence, and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with OKR goal setting framework to drive team and company objectives.
  • Experience with project and delivery management platforms such as JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, etc. - and comfort working alongside engineering teams in agile or sprint-based environments.
