Job description

At MarketOnce, we empower businesses with the insights and strategies they need to excel in today's dynamic market. With a strong foundation in market research, we offer innovative solutions in research, software, consulting, advertising, and marketing to corporate, private equity firms, and other organizations seeking to achieve their goals.
Our team is distinguished by their client-centric approach-treating each client's business with the dedication and care as if it were their own. This commitment enables us to deliver personalized service and achieve the highest standards of success and innovation in everything we do. Together, our family of companies, including MarketOnce, ROI Rocket, and eAccountable, work towards delivering unparalleled solutions. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, our global team collaborates from locations across the US and Europe.
We value curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and expertise, continuously striving to push boundaries and exceed our clients' expectations. Join us to be part of a culture that drives meaningful results.
About eAccountable:
eAccountable is a trusted leader in digital marketing, specializing in driving growth for online retailers. For two decades, online retailers have partnered with us to increase revenue, acquire new customers, and build brand loyalty. Through an integrated multi-channel digital marketing approach, we have helped our clients across many industries recognize quick and extremely impressive results.
About the Opportunity:
The Advertising Director, Marketplaces owns paid media performance across Marketplace Advertising and DSP. This is not a pure operator role. We need a leader who builds strategies that drive measurable results, manages and develops a high-performing Ad Support team, and has the commercial instincts to expand client investment in advertising. The right person can make a compelling, data-backed case to a client for more spend, speak confidently to the full funnel, and turn ad performance into a growth story. Strategic involvement scales by account tier: fully hands-on for Tier 1, monthly check-ins for Tier 2, and oversight-only for Tier 3.
What You'll Do:
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain a high-performing Ad Support team aligned to eAccountable's growth trajectory
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and proactively manage performance issues
  • Build and execute structured training and development programs that keep the team ahead of the evolving marketplace advertising landscape
  • Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and excellence - consistent with eAccountable's core values

Advertising Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and own comprehensive advertising strategies across Sponsored Ads and DSP that drive client growth and expand eAccountable's revenue
  • Align media strategy with each client's broader business objectives, ensuring every dollar spent maps to a measurable outcome
  • Identify and act on opportunities to grow client investment in DSP and total ad spend - turning strategy into incremental revenue
  • Stay current on the latest trends, platform updates, and competitive shifts across Amazon Advertising and key marketplace channels
  • Collaborate directly with the VP of Marketplaces to surface and develop business growth opportunities within the advertising practice

Campaign Execution & Oversight
  • Maintain active oversight across all client accounts to ensure campaigns are executing correctly, pacing is on target, and quality standards are upheld
  • Lead budget pacing management, targeting strategy, and structured testing plans across the portfolio
  • Guide creative needs and asset coordination in partnership with internal creative resources
  • Deliver insights for client reporting and internal planning that are data-driven, actionable, and tied to account goals

Data Analysis & Performance Management
  • Analyze advertising data across the portfolio to identify performance gaps, optimization opportunities, and growth levers
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance metrics, holding the Ad Support team accountable to execution quality and efficiency standards
  • Translate data into clear, confident recommendations - for clients and internal stakeholders alike

Client Growth & Revenue Development
  • Act as a confident, compelling voice to clients on the value of advertising investment - making the case for increased spend with data, strategy, and full-funnel thinking
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow each client's ad budget by demonstrating clear ROI and articulating the business impact of scaling Sponsored Ads and DSP
  • Speak fluently to the full advertising funnel - from awareness and consideration through conversion - and connect that story to the client's growth goals
  • Partner with account teams to build investment proposals, upsell DSP programs, and frame advertising as a strategic growth lever, not a line-item cost
  • Contribute directly to eAccountable's advertising revenue growth by expanding client relationships and increasing managed ad spend across the portfolio
  • Treat every client interaction as an opportunity to deepen trust and expand scope - this role sells through results and relationships

What We're Looking For:
  • 8+ years of hands-on Amazon / Marketplace Advertising experience in an agency environment, including Sponsored Ads and DSP, with a track record of driving measurable client growth
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing advertising or media teams
  • A natural growth mindset - you see budget conversations as opportunities, not obstacles, and you know how to make the case for more investment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate full-funnel advertising strategy to clients and influence their investment decisions
  • Deep analytical capability - you read data fluently and translate it into strategy without hesitation
  • Strong understanding of budget pacing, bid management, targeting strategy, and campaign testing frameworks
  • Excellent communicator who can hold a room with client, build an investment case, and coach a junior team member in the same afternoon
  • Self-directed, results-obsessed, and energized by building - not just managing

What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary: $120,000-$143,500/year + variable compensation
  • Flexible vacation policy - take the time you need to recharge
  • Comprehensive health, vision & dental insurance
  • 401k with company contribution
  • Beautiful downtown Denver office with company-paid commuter benefits (parking or RTD EcoPass)
  • Opportunity for career progression with plenty of room for personal growth

What to Expect:
  • 1st Round: 45-minute interview with the Recruiter
  • 2nd Round: 45-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 3rd Round: Account audit and presentation
  • 4th Round: 2 hours of final interviews with the Hiring Team

Please note that we are fully onsite work environment, and require daily presence at our LoDo/Union Station office. Local Denver candidates will be given top priority, but other locations will be considered. We do not work with outside recruiting agencies.
MarketOnce will accept applications for this role on an ongoing basis.
